Indian mountaineer Tshering Choden has added another remarkable achievement to her name by successfully summiting Mount Elbrus (5,642 meters), the highest peak in Europe, on Sunday morning. The climber, who hails from Sikkim, completed the expedition in Russia and proudly raised the Indian flag at the summit.
Mount Elbrus, located in the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, is one of the world’s most challenging and iconic peaks. Reaching its summit requires months of preparation, physical endurance, technical skill, and the determination to overcome harsh weather conditions.
